The absolute last thing I like to shop for are jeans.
I love owning and wearing them, but I hate having to pick them out.
So about a month ago when my last pairs of jeans were falling apart, I knew I had to get it together and face the music. I visited a bunch of stores but it wasn’t until I went into Body Blue (724 Queen St. West) that I found a really helpful sales girl who dedicated her attention to my mission.
I was looking for a pair of dark skinny jeans that wouldn’t deplete my bank account and the woman who served me was super helpful.
She picked out a bunch of jeans (which was necesasry as most of them are piled high on shelves and impossible to sort through without entirely messing up the display).
She gave me a couple of styles and then helped me as I tried them on. I struggled over size but she recommended I get smaller ones as they’ll stretch.
Now this store is TINY, like Carte Blanche, but they have a great selection – it’s just a little difficult to maneuver. However, every time I’ve been in here, the sales staff have been super attentive and I think that makes that lack of space that much more bearable.
They have some great brands here like Citizens, Paige, 7 for all mankind, etc. The prices are pretty standard for Queen Street boutiques, but I have to say the service is what makes it stand out.
If you’re looking for jeans (or some great shirts, shoes, accessories or dreses) Body Blue is a great place to go.
