I’m sure most of us would love to stroll down the cobblestone streets of Paris, sipping on a café au lait and laughing at all our silly friends stuck back in Canada.
However, if you don’t plan on jet setting to France to mock your contemporaries any time soon, Crêpes à GoGo is probably the next best thing.
This little crêperie is adorable. Small café-style seating, an open-concept kitchen where you watch your crêpes being prepared and a no-nonsense French woman who runs a super tight ship.
The food here is superb; authentic thin warm crêpes filled with everything from spinach and goat cheese to strawberries and chocolate.
This place is kosher though, so no meat. But the fillings are, well, filling, and you really can’t go wrong with anything on this menu.
But this place is small, crowded and always buzzing. However, the crêpes are served in paper bags, so you could walk around Yorkville and munch away if there’s no seating. They also serve a variety of coffees and signature juices that you’ll want to try to wash down that tasty, tasty crêpe.
