tealishWhen I started rocking the scrabble board and collecting various types of oolong tea, I knew I’d officially become a senior citizen (in my early 20s). But haters to the left, because I love me some tea. And I love going into Tealish and taking in the sights and smells of all that delicious fragrant leafy goodness.

This place is great and offers a HUGE selection of teas. Located across from Trinity Bellwood’s park, one of my favourite things to do in the summer is pick up a delicious ice tea (not watered down and not horribly over-sweetened) and lay in the grass.

If you don’t have time for that, be sure to take a little satchel home.  The staff is uber knowledgeable (and always make great recommendations). I have no idea how someone could know so much about the 100s of types of teas they carry (literally) but these guys know their stuff. I love that everytime I come in they have some new fruity, leafy conconction I just have to smell. And then ultimately buy. Damn those sales people!

They also sell adorable tea steepers, tea pots, cups, mugs, travel canisters and any other tea related paraphernalia you could think of.  Then you can go home, make yourself a cuppa, and finish knitting that sweater for your grandson.
